We have a tradition at home that my husband and I share which is carving out time to sit in two chairs, side by side, for conversation. We always say that this is where communication begins. 2 people in 2 chairs.

It seemed natural for me to name my design studio 2 Chairs Design because that's what it's all about - communicating so that others understand. I thrive on the creation of visual design that helps people, businesses and organizations deliver their message in unique and memorable ways. Time is precious - which makes delivering messages purposefully and succinctly more important than ever.

I graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in May of 2010. I've been a designer for eleven years and I still learn something new every day.

I have been in love with web design and interactive design for a long time and my next goal is to become an Adobe Certified Expert in After Effects - but that will take a while!

My husband, Kevin, is Director of Choral Activities at James E. Taylor High School here in Katy as well as the artistic director of CANTARE Houston and director of the Parish Choir at St. Martin's Episcopal. Our sons Kurt and Mitchell are following their chosen paths with Kurt joining the police academy and Mitchell becoming the best guitar player in Houston!
